When you register with us in any capacity you directly provide Coact with your personal data. We also collect data and process data when you use or view our website via your browser’s cookies. If you contact us by email we will also receive your personal data such as your email address and any other information you provide us with in the body of the email.

- Contractual Necessity: this is where processing is needed to fulfil a contract or take steps requested by the individual;

How Will We Use Your Data?
Coact collects your data so we can register you in any capacity. We may also contact you with updates on our activities and invitations to meetings. If a vote is required, we will also email you to request that you vote electronically prior to any meeting you have been invited to.
We will not share your data with any other organization without either prior permission or by sending out an updated version of this privacy policy.
How Do We Store Your Data?
Coact securely stores your data on Sharepoint and only team members who require your contact details will have access to this part of the drive.
Coact will store your personal details on a spreadsheet for ease of location and your email address on a mailing list for the duration of your involvement in any capacity and for six months after your engagement with Coact ends. At this point your data will be deleted from our google drive.
What Are Your Data Protection Rights?
Coact would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access – You have the right to request Coact provide you with copies of your personal data. There will be a £10 fee for this service unless you have indicated you are of low income.
- The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Coact correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Coact to complete information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Coact restrict the processing of your data under certain conditions.
- The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Coact restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Coact’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Coact transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
