Dr Ifekandu Edekandu Chiedu

Dr Ifekandu Edekandu Chiedu is currently studying for a third PhD in International Relations and Diplomacy. The other two were in Sociology and Development Communications. He was a pioneer recipient of the Harm Reduction Academy scholarship facilitated by Alliance for Public Health Ukraine. He is also the current Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Nigerian Key Populations Health and Human Rights. Dr Chiedu is an independent Research Consultant who has provided services on drug-related studies for PEPFAR, GNP+, Frontline AIDS and WHO, amongst many others. For the past nine years, he has been an adjunct lecturer at the Federal University, Lafia (FuLafia), where he teaches Research Methods, Policies and Development Communications to both postgraduate and undergraduate students. He has over 35 accepted abstracts for both oral and poster presentations at various fora, including IAS, HIVR4P, CROI and ICASA.
